If there was a new dinosaur discovered in Yorkshire, what would it look like?

Design your very own Yorkshiresaurus which will be brought to life for Leeds Jurassic Trail 2!

We’re inviting children aged 7 – 14 to design a Yorkshire-inspired dinosaur which will then be made into a full-size animatronic beast and be part of the Leeds Jurassic Trail 2 this Summer.

If there was a new dinosaur, discovered in Yorkshire…what would it be like?

Using the entry form which can be downloaded below, we want children to use the Yorkshire county as inspiration to create their very own Yorkshiresaurus.

Entries end midnight Friday 27th March.

A panel of judges will then choose the most creative which will be used by designers to create the final blueprint. Animatronic experts will then make the world’s first-ever full-size Yorkshiresaurus, ready for display in the city centre this summer.

The winner will get the honour of activating the Yorkshiresaurus for the first time, 4 tickets to Child Friendly Leeds Live at Millennium Square and also bag their school a free dino day experience as the trail will launch before the summer holidays, also allowing for more school trips to the city to see these giant animatronic creations.

See here for full T&Cs.
